For the construction of a new commercial shopping center in Parker, exposed soils and newly graded slopes left the site susceptible to runoff and sediment movement during storm events. Pase Environmental was brought in to stabilize disturbed areas and promote quick establishment of vegetation.
The team installed 40,000 SY of double-net straw biodegradable erosion control blankets to protect open slopes and seeded areas. Silt fence was implemented to capture on-site sediment and prevent it from impacting surrounding properties or drainage systems.
With these measures in place, vegetation successfully established across the site, creating a fully stabilized system. Today, the commercial development is surrounded by healthy native grasses performing as intended to protect site infrastructure.
